This is a checklist of items to review after importing your content from iLearn.
Date and time settings
While import attempts to adjust dates and times correctly, dates may not be 100% what you expect. Double check any activities that have open and close dates to make sure the dates and times match what you want them to be.
Visibility
Items may bring over the visibility settings from iLearn (Canvas calls this "publishing"). Check to make sure items that should be visible to students are published (green check mark), and items that should be hidden are unpublished (gray no symbol).
Quiz and quiz questions
Not every quiz question type is supported by Canvas. You can find more information in this guide. Briefly, the question types that are not supported are any of the drag and drop types, CLOZE, and Missing Words. After importing it is very important to double check your quizzes to make sure what is and isn't there, as well as making sure question settings match what you expect, as Canvas does not support all of the esoteric quiz features that iLearn does.
Grades and grade settings
Canvas does not support scales or any non-numeric grades. All imported items that can be graded need to be checked for point value settings as anything that was imported with a scale or other non-numeric grading from iLearn may default to being worth 100 points within Canvas.
Gradebook settings will need to be completely redone in Canvas as the Canvas gradebook is much more simplistic and does not support all of the features that the iLearn gradebook does.
