winter 2023 course in Canvas

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get my Winter 2023 course ready and was wondering if it is the right one because I see Winter 2022-K16-v01 in the title. Is this the old version and I'm supposed to import it into the 2023 version that has not opened yet? I also don't see students in the course, when by now some would have already registered, since registration began Nov 2.

  Like Fall, Winter is opt-in. You need to go to https://classdata.sfsu.edu to choose to use Canvas instead of iLearn in the Winter. 

  Additionally, the k16 course is a course that was migrated by the vendor. It is NOT going to be the course you use to actually teach in, but rather the course you can import into your real course once you make that choice on the classdata page.

  Where is the Winter 2023 course that I will be teaching in? My course has 2 sections and I see section 2 and students registered in it, but I don't see section 1. It is not in https://classdata.sfsu.edu either.
