How to schedule final exams (iLearn Choices replacement)?
AnsweredI have been using iLearn Choices to task my 500+ students to schedule their final exams into the available time slots in the computer lab.
- What similar tool is available in Canvas to get this accomplished, if any?
- Are you aware of an external scheduling app/cartridge that could be pulled into canvas?
- Does SF State have an available (paid) or recommended external work-around, if no such solution is available? Things like Calendly, Acuity Scheduling etc.?
Thank you!

If your question was for office hours I would have a more definitive answer for you as Canvas does have an "appointments" feature in the built-in calendar that you can use to set up availability. You might be able to get away with that for final exams, but it's a bit weird and would show up on your Canvas calendar as it's technically an appointment with you. More information on the Scheduler built-in to Canvas can be found in their documentation.
Generally speaking, the Microsoft license we have also gives us access to Bookings (https://bookings.office.com), but that's sort of in the same vein where it's on your specific calendar. We use bookings internally to schedule our one-on-one appointments, for example. This doesn't integrate into Canvas, though, but is available in a more general sense, and you could paste the link to the bookings calendar in your Canvas course.
