I am using iLearn to set up my Zoom meetings so I can give 1 point of extra credit to each student who attends. This does not work for recurring meetings with the way Zoom is set up, so I make a new Zoom meeting for each lecture. With my class load, that's 6 links per week. I wonder if there is a way to set up Zoom sessions in bulk? Perhaps using the Attendance module?
The extra credit the students receive for attending the Zoom is negligible but encourages attendance and helps them feel better about their grades. And since there is no way I am going to manually take roll with classes over 100, having an automatic option for taking roll is necessary. I was quite worried about how to do this, but then I learned about the Zoom point during a webinar with AT.
I think an iLearn expert might next ask if I use iClicker, and yes I do, but each class has an approximate discrepancy of 20% more Zoom participants than iClicker respondents, so iClicker for attendance is not ideal.
Can the iLearn Attendance module be changed such that when I add multiple attendance sessions for the semester, the module automatically sets up a Zoom meeting for each session?
