Instruction for students to access their course LMS through canvas?
AnsweredHello,
I usually have a small blurb on my syllabus pointing students to all materials on ilearn. Should I point students to Canvas for my course? I think I read somewhere that it will still be ilearn for students from which they will be directed to the canvas page- is this correct? Can you please clarify?
Is the statement below ok for this summer 2022 courses:
Please check regularly for materials, announcements and assignments on the class web page through http://ilearn.sfsu.edu You will be directed from your ilearn pages to the Canvas course page which I will be piloting this summer.
Thanks a lot!

During the transition semesters, we are generally recommending instructors continue to point students to iLearn. We've made some modifications to iLearn so that it shows students both iLearn and Canvas courses all in one place, so they don't need to go searching for where their courses are.
This is what it will look like in iLearn:
Canvas courses will show up with [Canvas] prepended to the name, and clicking on that link will take the students directly to that Canvas course after logging in.
