Canvas and iLearn do not have a common question format between the two systems so you cannot export and import JUST quiz questions. Normally I’d recommend copying the whole course over but since you’ve already started work, you can make a backup of the specific quiz or quizzes and copy the content over that way.

We have a guide for copying one activity between two iLearn courses, but you can follow this guide up to step 2: https://athelp.sfsu.edu/hc/en-us/articles/360044727194-Copying-a-single-activity-from-one-course-into-another-course

Once you have the .mbz file on your computer, you can follow the general guide to importing a course from iLearn to Canvas, remembering that your back file only contains the one quiz you want: https://athelp.sfsu.edu/hc/en-us/articles/5690090704915-Manually-importing-content-from-iLearn-to-Canvas

    Hi Cristian,

Would you ever consider writing a Quiz app or plug-in for Canvas? Would it be so weird for SFSU Academic Tech to be a 3rd party vendor to Canvas? You did such amazing work creating functional and randomizable quiz question types.

On the quiz front we're actively testing Canvas' New Quizzes module to see if it solves some of these pain points. We'll have more information on this once we complete our testing.

As for custom developing something, I'm not going to say "no" because you never know, but right at this particular moment our internal development resources are quite constrained. We'll see what the future holds in this case, though.
