email addresses and group membership

I would like to pre-assign breakout rooms in Zoom.  To do that, I need email addresses and the group membership in a .csv file.  I can't seem to find a way to download either of these in Canvas.  I followed Canvas's advice only to discover that our SIS login uses students id rather than their login name.  Ugh.

Any advice?  I'd rather not look up each email.

  Without getting into a huge rant about email on campus, this isn't something we're going to be able to "fix". We have to use SFSU ID as the SIS ID in Canvas because email data on campus is super unreliable as a unique identifier. Canvas, in their infinite wisdom, also doesn't have a way of downloading just the roster anywhere with the email address field, so this is not something that you're going to be able to do in Canvas. You'll need to download your roster from the faculty center in the gateway.

  And thankfully we still have access to the Prerequisite Roster though gateway.sfsu.edu. I like using that to download a file with emails because that tool allows us to list separate classes in one table. I have a class that is 5 courses combined into one.
