- If you do not already have an SSH client installed on your Windows machine, you can install Putty using the following link: https://www.putty.org/
- Once it’s installed open up the application
- In the Host Name field type in the path to the virtual machine.
- Select Open.
- At the login prompt type in your 9 digit SFSU ID number and press enter. Then type in your SF State password.
Note: If you are not on campus you will need to connect to the SF State VPN before you can access the machine. If this is not already installed on your machine you can install it by going to: https://gp.sfsu.edu. Students will need to go to https://gp-students.sfsu.edu to download the VPN.
