Users are able to play streaming videos (Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, etc.) through the technology in classrooms, provided they have a laptop and their own account with the respective streaming service.

Windows PC:

1. Connect laptop to classroom projector or television.
2. Reference the AT Classroom Database for specific instructions.
3. Connect to the SF State campus Wi-Fi.
4. Open any web browser window.
5. Log-in to the desired streaming service.

Apple Mac:

1. Connect laptop to classroom projector or television.
2. Reference the AT Classroom Database for specific instructions.
3. Connect to the SF State campus Wi-FI.
4. Open either Chrome or Firebox browser window. Do not use Safari.
5. Log-in to the desired streaming service.

 

Note: For streaming video on the iTunes app, the laptop connection to projector or television must be HDMI (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI) for iTunes streaming to function. VGA (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Video_Graphics_Array) connection results in an HDCP error, preventing videos from playing.
