As both an instructor and student, you have the ability to favorite courses within Canvas. Favoriting your courses can help organize your Canvas Dashboard in a way that makes it easy to access your current semester courses or most important courses.

 

1. Log in to Canvas via https://canvas.sfsu.edu/
2. Select Courses from the purple global navigation menu.
3. Select All Courses.                               
4. To favorite a course, select the Star icon to the left of the course's name.

After selecting the star, the course will automatically be a favorite. Go to your Canvas Dashboard to see the changes.
