Log in to Canvas by going to https://canvas.sfsu.edu/ and selecting one of the "Log in to Canvas" buttons.

Gradebook
To access the course gradebook, select the Grades link from the left-side course navigation menu. Students will see an overview of their individual gradebook. Instructors will see a table containing a list of all enrolled students and any graded assignments. Instructors will also have access to gradebook settings such as Grade Posting Policies, Late Policies, and managing empty grades.
Grading
All graded activities inside Canvas utilize the SpeedGrader, which is Canvas' in-house grading tool. The SpeedGrader can be used to grade Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes.

There are several types of activities and resources that Instructors can add to their courses. Activities or resources can be added directly through a Module or through one of the links listed on the left-side course navigation menu.

Integrations
There are a few third-party integrations that both instructors and students can utilize within Canvas. These tools are not directly controlled by Canvas, rather, they are integrated with the system to provide additional resources.
