This document applies to faculty, staff, and eligible students that may want Adobe applications installed on personally-owned computers for University business.
Note: Only students in the following majors have access to Adobe software through San Francisco State University:
- Journalism
- BECA
- School of Design
- Art
- Cinema
Students who want licenses but are not in one of the majors listed above can request a license via the request form: https://sfsu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_b1OOMrSkl7RRWuO
- On a web browser, go to: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop
- Enter your SFSUID@sfsu.edu (example: 912345678@sfsu.edu) and select Continue.
- If prompted on the next page, select Company or School account.
- You will then be re-routed to the SF State Global Login page. Enter in your SFSU credentials.

Once you have signed in, download the Creative Cloud Application.
- Once installed, launch the Adobe Creative Cloud application. You will be prompted to sign in again. Enter your SFSUID@sfsu.edu, then select Continue.
- Select Company or School account, if prompted.
- You will then be re-routed to the SF State Global Login page. Enter in your SFSU credentials.
- Once signed in, all available apps will be in the 'All Apps' tab on the left pane.
- You will then be able to install Adobe applications. Select Install on the applications that you would like to install on your machine.
