Submit an assignment

Locate the assignment you want to submit. Assignments in Canvas are denoted by the paper and pencil icon
Depending on the type of assignment you may see a few different options:
1. Online text assignment: a text box where you can type in your response directly. This type of assignment also supports embedding pictures and videos via the tools in the formatting toolbar
2. Upload file assignment: a box where you can upload a file. Alternatively, you can also click the Canvas Studio button to upload a video or audio file if the assignment calls for one.
Once you have uploaded your document or typed in your response, select Submit Assignment at the bottom to finalize your submission.
