Note: The Zoom integration in Canvas appears in the left navigation bar on the course page. If the Zoom link is not visible in your course you will need to enable the Zoom link in the navigation bar settings before you can use Zoom in your course.

Enabling the link in your navigation settings

1. Navigate to your course in Canvas
2. At the bottom of the left navigation bar, select Settings
3. Select the Navigation tab at the top
   
4. Find Zoom in the list at the bottom, then from the three dots menu, select Enable
5. Select Save

Adding a new meeting

1. Select Zoom from the navigation bar on the left
   
2. Select Schedule a new meeting
   
3. Enter your meeting details as you normally would for any Zoom meeting.
4. Select Save at the bottom of the page

You will be presented with a very similar view to the one you get when you schedule a Zoom meeting on the Zoom website itself with the meeting details shown. At this stage you can navigate away and work on other things in your course.

Starting a meeting from within Canvas

1. Select Zoom from the navigation bar on the left
2. Locate the meeting you wish to start in the list and select Start
   

Joining a meeting from within Canvas (students)

1. Select Zoom from the navigation on the left
2. Locate the meeting you wish to join from the list and select Join

Viewing a meeting recording and making the recording available to students (instructors)

1. Select the Zoom link in the navigation bar on the left
2. Select the Cloud Recordings tab at the top
   
3. Select the title of the recording you wish to view from the list
   
4. (optional) If you want to make this recording available to students, toggle the Publish toggle for the recording
   

Viewing a meeting recording (students)

1. Select the Zoom link in the navigation bar on the left
2. Select the Cloud Recordings tab
   
3. Select the recording you wish to view from the list
