Summary
This document will guide you through the steps on how to save a document as a PDF using a Mac. The example shown will cover how to save a webpage open in Firefox as a PDF document.
Step One
Open Firefox and browse to the webpage you wish to save as PDF. For the purpose of this document, we will use Google.com. Click on the “Menu” icon in the toolbar at the top-right corner of your screen
Step Two
Select the option “Print”
Step Three
In the “Print” window, PDF will be listed as a separate option on the bottom-left corner. Click on the drop-down menu and select “Save as PDF”
Step Four
Select a name and a location for your file and click on “Save”
Note: Please note that when trying to print from a webpage, first you need to save it as a PDF as shown in this guide, and then you can print the PDF document.
Additional Information
Following the procedures outlined in this document you can save other types of files (i.e. JPEG, WORD, etc…) to PDF.
