Summary
This document will guide you through the steps on how to save a document as a PDF using a Mac. The example shown will cover how to save a webpage open in Google Chrome as a PDF document.
Step One
Open Google Chrome and browse to the webpage you wish to save as PDF. For the purpose of this document, we will use Google.com. Click on the “Menu” icon in the toolbar on the top-right corner of your screen and click on “Print”
Step Two
In the “Print” window, click on the “Change” button underneath the print “Destination”
Step Three
Under “Local Destinations”, select “Save as PDF”
Step Four
Click on “Save”. You can then select a file name and location
Note: Please note that when trying to print from a webpage, first you need to save it as a PDF as shown in this guide, and then you can print the PDF document.
Additional Information
Following the procedures outlined in this document you can save other types of files (i.e. JPEG, WORD, etc…) to PDF.
