Adding an existing Zoom link to a Module
1. Navigate to your Canvas course.
2. On the left-side course navigation menu, select Modules.
3. Find the module you wish to add the Zoom link to, then select the plus icon (+) directly to the right of the module name.
4. Next to Add, select External URL from the drop-down menu.
5. Paste the Zoom link in the URL field.
6. In the page name field, enter a name to help students identify this as a Zoom link. It is recommended to include the Zoom passcode in the name.
7. Check the box next to Load in a new tab.
8. Select Add Item.
9. To publish the Zoom link, click on the gray unpublish icon directly to the right of the Zoom link.
The Zoom link will be added to the module. You can reorganize items in a module by dragging and dropping them in the desired spot.
Adding an existing Zoom link to a page
If you do not want to add the Zoom link to a module, you can add it as an external link within a Page.
1. Navigate to your Canvas course.
2. On the left course navigation menu, select Pages.
3. Find the page where you would like the link to be added, then select the Page title.
4. In the top right corner, select the Edit button.
5. In the text box, find a spot where you would like to add the link. Then, enter a word or sentence that will help students recognize that this will be a Zoom link.
6. From here, you can either directly paste the entire Zoom meeting link/invitation into the text box, or turn any text into a hyperlink.
7. Once you are done adding to the Page, select Save at the bottom right corner.
