Some instructors use Turnitin in Canvas to check student submissions for plagiarism. Once the Feedback Release date has passed, students can view comments, marks, and the overall grade for their Turnitin Assignments.

 

To view comments and feedback left by an instructor, students have to go directly through the Turnitin assignment.

1. Log in to Canvas.

2. Navigate to your course in Canvas.

3. From the left-side course navigation menu, select Assignments.

Note: If your instructor has hidden the Assignments link, find the assignment listed on the Modules.

4. Select the title of the assignment.

5. The Turnitin interface will load; select the title of your submission.

6. The Turnitin Feedback Studio will load in a new browser window. Any marks made directly on the submission will appear on the screen. To view the Feedback Summary (i.e. feedback on the entire submission), select the blue speech bubble icon in the top right side of the window.

 

To view comments or marks directly on the submission, select the speech bubble icons that appear on the submission.
